HOW TO USE THIS BUNDLE

START
Rinse the Catappa, Alder and Cholla. An optional pre-soak can be used for the natural materials.
PLACE
Add Catappa and Cholla first, then begin with 2–3 Alder cones.
FEED
Offer the pellets in a small amount and use the fast-dissolving blocks sparingly. Feed them separately from the natural materials.
LEAVE IN THE AQUARIUM
Catappa, Alder and Cholla remain as botanical grazing, cover and structure materials; no fixed replacement schedule is established.
REMOVE / CLEAN UP
Remove uneaten pellets after 24 hours. The calcium grazing blocks are intended to dissolve.

FEEDING COMPONENTS

Botanical Grazing Pellets

Supplementary grazing food; offer a small amount and remove uneaten pellets after 24 hours.

Calcium Grazing Blocks

Fast-dissolving mineral treats; use sparingly and expect the blocks to dissolve rather than remain as lasting mineral blocks.

ENRICHMENT & LASTING COMPONENTS

Catappa Leaves

Leaf-litter and botanical grazing surfaces that add natural cover and tannin context.

Botanical texture, tannin context and additional grazing surfaces.

Cholla Pieces

Product-specific answers

FAQ

Which components are food and which remain in the aquarium?

The pellets and fast-dissolving blocks are consumable. Catappa, Alder and Cholla provide botanical grazing surfaces, cover and structure in the aquarium.

Do I need to add everything at once?

No. Rinse and place the natural materials first, begin with 2–3 Alder cones and feed the pellets and blocks separately in small amounts.

Why are the calcium grazing blocks not listed as lasting mineral support?

These blocks are fast-dissolving treats. They are intended to dissolve and may create temporary cloudiness rather than remain as long-lasting mineral blocks.
