Preparation notes
- Rinse all botanicals before use. Ideal for a 40–100 L aquarium when used in full, added gradually over 1–3 weeks, or faster if a heavier leaf-litter bed is wanted. Optional: pre-soak in hot water for 15–30 minutes to help leaves sink. Large leaves may arrive gently folded for transit and will flatten once soaked. Top up or replace every 4–6 weeks depending on shredding, breakdown and desired water tint.
