Six pack routes, one honest shared gallery

The options differ through their exact contents and scale. No photograph is presented as the guaranteed contents of one particular option.

Illustrative habitat images show possible contexts, not guaranteed results and not universal species-safety claims.

OTHER CUSTOMER ROUTES

OTHER NATURALISTIC HABITAT USES

Beyond aquarium use, selected dry leaves, pods and woody pieces can also add natural structure, cover and surface complexity to suitable paludarium, vivarium and bioactive setups. Choose materials to suit the scale, moisture level and animals in the enclosure.

PALUDARIUM MARGIN

Use suitable leaves, pods and woody pieces through damp margins and transitional areas to connect the aquatic and terrestrial parts of a naturalistic layout.

Blackwater Botanical Starter Packs - Betta, Aquarium & Frog Options cover habitat story
BIOACTIVE FLOOR

Leaves and suitable harder pieces can form part of the litter and structural layer used around an established bioactive substrate. They are not a complete substrate by themselves.

Blackwater Botanical Starter Packs - Betta, Aquarium & Frog Options blend in habitat story
ISOPOD / SPRINGTAIL LITTER

Suitable leaves and dry botanical pieces can provide cover, surface complexity and material that gradually becomes part of the decomposer environment.

Blackwater Botanical Starter Packs - Betta, Aquarium & Frog Options explore habitat story
ISOPOD / SPRINGTAIL COVER

Use suitable pieces as additional cover and surface complexity within an established decomposer setup, not as a complete food or substrate system.

Before adding

Preparation & Safety

Preparation

Inspect and rinse every botanical before use. Prepare individual materials according to their exact product guidance; do not apply one blanket boiling rule to the whole pack. Add a small selection first, observe the aquarium or enclosure, and build gradually.

Safety notes

  • Large packs are supply quantities, not one-dose instructions.
  • Organic load depends on the amount actually added, the system volume, filtration and husbandry.
  • No specific pH, GH or KH change is promised.
  • Natural size, shape, colour, texture and breakdown rate vary.
  • The Frog Bundle is a selected dry botanical route, not a complete substrate, diet or universal species-safety claim.
  • For ornamental aquarium and suitable naturalistic hobby enclosure use only. Not for human consumption.
