Build the route
Build a shelter and grazing structure route
Use pods as small natural structures, then add leaves or grazing support around them once livestock are settled.
Product story
Bakuli Pods – Aquarium Botanicals in use
Bakuli Pods are small natural structure pods for freshwater aquariums, shrimp tanks, fry shelter, nano fish and blackwater leaf-litter scapes. They create cover, micro-territories and biofilm grazing surfaces over time.
Why aquarists use it
Shrimp tanks and shrimp colonies, Fry and juvenile fish shelter
What it does
It adds edges, small sheltered spaces and surfaces that can become part of a grazing and biofilm-rich floor over time.
What it does not do
It is not a replacement for caves where a species needs fixed hard shelter, and it is not a treatment product.

Method reminders

How should this be introduced?
Prepare as appropriate, add a small amount first and watch livestock and water clarity for 24-72 hours before adding more.
Is natural variation normal?
Yes. Botanical and prepared aquarium products can vary in size, colour, shape, texture, tint and breakdown speed.
Does this guarantee water parameter changes?
No. The BBA method is deliberately careful: products can support a route, but they do not promise instant pH, GH or KH results.
