Each sheath is a natural curved piece with ridged texture, hollow or semi-open shelter areas and strong botanical character. It works especially well in larger shrimp tanks, betta aquariums, botanical method setups, biotope-style layouts and natural blackwater aquariums.
This is a large statement botanical rather than a small detail piece. It can be used as a focal point among leaf litter, cones, bark, pods and wood, helping create a more natural layered habitat.
These are natural habitat and enrichment pieces, not medicines. Use them as part of a balanced botanical layout with stable water, mature filtration and normal aquarium care.

6) Large focal-point botanical Because this piece is approx. 30–35cm, it is best suited to bigger aquariums or layouts where a strong natural statement piece is wanted. It can be trimmed or broken only if the aquarist chooses to adapt it for their own layout.
How to use Rinse before use. Do not use soap or chemicals. Optional: pre-soak for 1–7 days to help sinking and reduce the initial tannin release. Add gradually, especially in soft water, low-KH systems or smaller aquariums. Place the sheath where shrimp, fry or shy fish can explore, graze and shelter. Use with leaves, cones, bark and wood for a more natural botanical layout. White biofilm at first is normal and is often eaten by shrimp and snails. If any piece becomes unsightly, simply remove it and replace with a fresh one.

It does not replace stable husbandry, cure disease or promise exact pH, GH or KH movement.
PREPARATION
- Rinse all botanicals thoroughly before use. Do not use soap, detergents or household chemicals.
- If needed, pre-soak harder pieces for 1–7 days to help them sink and to reduce the strongest initial tint.
- A white or translucent biofilm may appear as botanicals begin to soften. This is a normal part of botanical decomposition and is commonly grazed by shrimp and snails.
