BBA LUBAO BAGS · TWO BOTANICAL FORMATS

Give your shrimp
something to gather around.

A Lubao Bag gives shrimp a real place to investigate: a sealed botanical sachet in the aquarium, with the blend held together as the colony gathers around it.

Choose Premium Granulated for its dust-reduced blend and steadier release than a fine powdered blend, or choose the original Slow-Release format for gradual botanical use.

WHAT THEY ARE

A botanical sachet shrimp can gather around.

01

Sealed and ready

Use the sachet whole during aquarium use. Do not open or divide it.

02

A grazing point

Shrimp can investigate the outer surface while biofilm may develop according to aquarium conditions and grazing pressure.

03

Observed use

Place one sachet in gentle flow and watch the aquarium and livestock during the first 24–48 hours.

WHY AQUARISTS USE THEM

A visible place for the colony to explore.

Lubao is useful when you want a botanical grazing point without spreading a loose fine blend through the layout. It can suit Caridina and Neocaridina setups, breeding tanks and established colonies where the keeper wants another place to observe.

Visible biofilm, haze and water response vary with tank size, flow, filtration, feeding and grazing pressure. Lubao Bags are not medication and no fixed pH, KH or GH change is promised.

GRANULATED OR SLOW RELEASE?

Choose by format, not by guesswork.

PREMIUM GRANULATED

Premium Lubao Bags

A granulated, dust-reduced blend designed for a steadier release than a fine powdered blend. A mild haze can still occur, but heavy powder clouding is reduced.

Blend
Mulberry leaf, nettle leaf, Catappa leaf, spirulina, bentonite clay and plant-based binders.
Best fit
Caridina, Neocaridina and breeding tanks where a cleaner controlled release is the priority.

ORIGINAL SLOW RELEASE

Lubao Bags – Slow-Release Botanical Sachets

The original gradual-use format. Its sachet holds the blend together while shrimp can investigate the outer surface over time.

Blend
Mulberry leaf, nettle leaf, Catappa leaf, spirulina, tapioca starch and bentonite clay.
Best fit
Shrimp colonies and breeding tanks where the original gradual format is the priority.

Choose Slow Release
Both formats: one sealed sachet per 20–50 L · gentle flow near a filter or intake · observe for 24–48 hours · replace every 4–6 weeks according to tank size, feeding and bio-load, or remove earlier for heavy clouding or livestock stress.

QUICK ANSWERS

Before a sachet goes into the aquarium.

Is Lubao a complete shrimp food?

Use Lubao alongside your normal feeding and aquarium-care routine, not as a replacement for a complete diet.

Will I definitely see biofilm?

No fixed visible result is promised. Development varies with the aquarium, flow, filtration, feeding routine and how quickly shrimp graze the sachet.

Can I open the bag or split the contents?

No. Use one whole sealed sachet and do not open or divide it.

Will the water stay completely clear?

A mild haze can occur with either format. The granulated, dust-reduced blend reduces heavy powder clouding, but a completely clear result is not guaranteed.

Which one should I choose?

Choose Premium Granulated when the dust-reduced, steadier controlled-release format matters most. Choose Slow Release when you want the original gradual botanical sachet. Both use the same starting dose and observation approach.

When should I remove it?

Replace every 4–6 weeks according to tank size, feeding level and bio-load. Remove earlier if you see heavy clouding or livestock stress.
